Wondering if any of you can help.
My wordpress blog is not displaying any content. Host is working on restoring.
On my hosting account, with phpMyAdmin I can see that the database is still there. Posts are still there, photos, categories, etc. But the blog itself is blank but with CSS, colors, etc. still working.Anyone had this happen? I am thinking the sites were hacked again, but also wonder if somehow the DB's got unconnected or something.

Did you check all your files like the theme files and htaccess files? Make sure permissions are set to 755 for directories and 644 for files.

try a default theme to get it working, if you're on (mt) they've been making changes lately, contact them with your connection issue. there should be a config file you can open and view to verify the database user name and password

Yeah, went through that a few weeks ago when the sites where hacked by some Turkish cyber mafia.

It's really strange. In the site management tools, the database is still there, all posts are there, etc.
But in Wordpress, there's nothing as far as content, posts, pages, etc. I checked the wp-config.php file and it is still pointing to the correct database.
- did you try another theme?********
- the theme is fine, it's all still there, just no content or pages.mg33
- point being, maybe it's an error in your theme, you could test this by switching themes********
- did you try another theme?

delete all files on the server (check for hidden files) and upload local files again (the original version from your machine).
turkish hackers tend to insert scripts into files and build deep folder structures under upload folders to call additional scripts.
