I was looking for a textmate replacement since it hasn't been actively maintained for a few years now, and I stumbled upon Kod. http://kodapp.com/
Seems to be a nice little editor with an active community, and it's open source too. I'm going to run it though it's paces tomorrow. Thought fellow qbners disenchanted with textmate might like to give it a shot too..

Seems like an awesome start, really hoping it takes off (or Textmate 2 finally comes out).
Just a shame the guy (http://rsms.me/) behind it has been snatched up by Facebook because he could probably make cooler shit on his own judging from his work and Facebook is a talent sink at the start of it's slow death.
Also check out Vico http://www.vicoapp.com/ inspired by Textmate and vi, can't make sense of it myself because vi is a headfuck to me but someone might like it.
