After far too long I just launched my new site with a lot of new work. Hope you enjoy.

Am I judging you on your photo or site or both?
- zachs0
You can judge whatever you like, haha. Site built by myself as well.

I dont understand the difference between personal and portraits.
The photos are heavily post processed and the style is rather mundane. The color is very similar to the latest-trendy-whats-new. It blends in with the rest of the stuff out there. There are some good capture of moment in time but those would have been better if it was not overly processed. Subject matter needs some more work. It is rather trendy for trendy sake. Not really capturing anything except for show casing technical ability. While it is important, techniques does not make the photos good.

Nice site, good layout, very functional.
Way too much image processing. And without the processing most of you're shots are just snapshots of your friends. I would remove the entire 'personal' section and put those on facebook.
- The so called editorial shots are ill composed. Very static and un-natrual.********

When you can make a photo look good without adding vignette, you then become better than those with a hipstamatic. I'm not saying its a problem for you, just try and challenge your self and do more in camera than in Lr, RAW-w/e

One thing i noticed:
unless the browser is expanded, most of your photos are too big for the page, and it hides the thumbnails button on the lower right.

Yes, too much vignette, and the headless stuff is more interesting without the headless person I think - the places look interesting. Also, some of the images are very close to the ones next to them so perhaps show a lack of selection?

I have mixed feelings looking at your work. You have some really strong shots but than you have, as other people have mentioned, some not so strong over worked shots – the vignette effect shots do feel a little repetitive. I personally like your shots, I'm just looking at them with a work head on too.
- yep. calm down on the mouse-clicking bruz and get back to basic photography.inteliboy

How much post-production work is in this and what are you using? LR?

The layout is great, it gives potential client a fast overview of your style and sensibility. However the work is not consistent enough and I have a feeling that this is not your visual voice but rather a copy of that that oversharpened reality that most advertising still exists in.
You're definitely moving in the right direction but the work needs to mature a bit. Have you been working as an assistant?
/Martin!
- Agreed, that's why I'm shooting more and more. Never assisted no, just self taught. Thanks.zachs
