Hi,
Could you spare two minutes to let me know what your general thoughts on the logo and also out of the two which you'd go with.
http://www.madebytall.co.uk/logo…
I'm undecided which out of the two works better.
The first quick logo I did is on the main url, I thought that was too heavy.Use:
The logo will be used for the identity of a new design company. The owner (me) is 6.4ft. I like the idea of playing on the word tall. "It was a tall order" etc etc

Lose the 'creative'
2 for sure. You're not an escalator builder for tall people.
"Made by Tall" is much nicer.

kerning seems a bit off
- It is a little, this is version 10 so just want to get one a like before I perfect : )madebytall

Thanks for the input meffid ,. that was my other battle.
Call the company name just "TALL" and have the domain www.madebytall.co.uk.
or call the company" made by tall"
I too was unsure about the creative, alittle cheesy these days.

I think 2 looks a little generic.
Have you tried an extra wide font used vertically?

I like number two. it looks like it's tipping a bit though. Maybe shift the TALL to the right slightly so the curve of the 'C' hangs out ever so slightly.

Would it work with a bit of perspective on TALL as if looking up
- madebytall0
Thank you all for the feed back. I will give the perspective idea a go but I didn't want the logo trying too hard to show the meaning.
Logo could be seen as a little generic but i guess once backed up with the literature and placement etc it will hopefully be a little more original.Again thanks, you've given me lots to think about.

- I wondered when some one would say that. I'm fine unless its my own stuff. Hate it.madebytall

this doesnt suggest "tall"/perspective to me but instead looks like road markings/text on a road.
what about, instead of having the A with crossbar, just have a solid shape. then instead of the area cut-out of the letter have a silhouette cutout of a guy looking upward as if saying "ooft look at the height of that". So you are 'suggesting' a letter A.
just a thought :)

definately 2 but how the creative word is aligned underneath it gives the illusion that the word Tall is leaning to the left. Doesnt sit well.
I'd lose the creative word completely.

It doesn't work with the Ls so skinny (not that you can do much about that), and it says "climbing" more than anything.
Stack the letters, make them v. blocky, add tick marks to suggest a ruler.
