How the hell can i do this?
- tFour0
in newer versions, you need to duplicate a layer, and choose the target psd

please explain more,
what are you trying to do?anyways, if you want to group layers into a separate file,
group them together into a smart object,
double click the smart object,
it will open a new windows with your layer set,
save this file as *psd not *psb- just wanted to move a group of layers into another psd. was literally a case of moving but didnt work when i tried beforeliveforever

drag them either to the other window, or if they are tabbed, to the tab.
- thismanslife0
Yeah, surely just drag 'em, right? You can drag using the move tool, or drag the from the layers pallette...

liveforever, son, I am disappoint.
- thismanslife0
If the target document is the same dimensions + resolution, if you hold shift while dragging, they'll drop into the exact same position in the other doc.

it doesnt work well with tabs especially if your dragging a large group.
Best way to do is pop the windows of the 2 docs out of the tabs and drag from one to the other that way.- who the hell uses tabs in photoshop! Turn that shit off!set
