Sooo... Like so many others - I too started a company.
Hustling thru the fields of art direction, creative retouching and digital illustration.
Do tear me a new one.
If one's interested. My old portfolio. The one that [quote] runs like a bag of shit [end quote] is still taking space from the intersnet at:
http://www.joonaspaloheimo.com/2…I do think the new one is a little-little friendlier to use :)

your nav.. in the "About" section.. the page screen moves too fast and made my eyes bounce. if you can slow that down a few.. only happens when navigating from all top to all bottom. it was not comfortable.
outside of that, best of luck and success.

good luck with people spelling your domain name.
and having a pricing button cheapens it a little.- :) The part of the world where I live people tend to have weird names like that. Can't help it. What comes to the pricing button I believe it might lower the bar to make contact and also eliminate the deprived tire kickers...Joonas
- no offense on the name but wondered if another domain name would make it easier - abbreviated?fadein11

"Non-profit organizations
I'd like to offer my knowledge to non-profit organizations for minimum charge. Depenging, of course, on the project and my schedule. Please don't hesitate to ask."Should be depending not depenging.

If you were going to start a company, you really should not use your own name, because unless you only plan on working with people in india or wherever you might be, people are really going to struggle with that name.
Client: Hey can I see your work?
You: Sure, just go to joonaspaloheimowupadidooddieee.c...- timelinefadein11
- I'm sure the people of Finalnd won't have too much trouble working out one of their own names.detritus
- *shrugs* or perhaps, everything really does revolve around thoughtless and somewhat ignorant Americans?detritus
- Not berating Americans, understand, just the small-minded slightly parochial ones who don't think too much.detritus
- to be honest its looking for international clients that would be a problemfadein11
- and im from the UK, I can see your point but I am not narrow-minded and thought the domain a problemfadein11
- Interesting, so he's only going to work for people in finland? Hehe, awesome.CygnusZero4
- Ha :) I'm really trying to imagine how horrid my name reads out to you guys.Joonas
- Joonas Paloheimo can be roughly translated to Jones Burn tribe. So in that sense it's full of the win!Joonas
- ...But I do understand the point and should propably get a shorter address on the side if someday I do start to get comissions from abroad...Joonas
- ...comissions from abroad.Joonas
- I'm sure if you send clients an email with a link to your site in, they'll not be so stupid as to not know what to do with it.detritus
- Your name isn't hard. Your name is interesting, and therefore something to appreciate and take care with. Don't fret it.detritus
- Put it this way - any client who gets confused at that stage is probably a client not worth bothering with, hehe awesome.detritus
