I have an indexhibit website at http://www.leewashington.com and wanted to add a secure area that clients can login to to view work in progress. I've not had a lot of joy on the forums for indexhibit and wondered if you had any suggestions as to how I could go about this.
thanks,

second indexhibit install behind a .htaccess password
Then a custom theme that removes the menu and you can add each project and just send the client to their specific project subfolder
Might work
- i don't even know what indexhibit is or how to work it, but i like this answer. Would that work with WP?scruffics
- Yeah, .htaccess is a server feature to password directories of a site.animatedgif
- You can probably find a plugin for WP too...Jaline

thanks animatedgif, I'll give that a go. I guess if there's no menu then should be able to create a page for each client.

subfolio.com is similar to indexhibit, but much better in my opinion. And it let's you have client access.

I don't think you'd need a separate indexhibit install for each client, surely you could just remove all the menus from it and point them to a single project.
e.g:
http://www.indexhibit.org/instal… < "Install" would be the client name, and when you visit that link the menu on the left wouldn't be theresuppose it depends how big the projects are.
Yeah of course you can use any indexhibit clone you like, personally I like http://staceyapp.com/
