Layout shifting - help

Hey there,
I'm currently building this site -

I'm getting a bottom scrollbar (albeit without a scroller).
Just put a min-height: 1100px or similar on your main #container div so the vert scrollbar will always be there, but not the horizontal. Take off body overflow scroll.

It shift for me on safari and chrome on mac. Everything else is fine.

If it was me I'd just nail those links into place inside your nav div with some position: absolutes; make the nav div a certain width, margin: 0 auto it, and then it's just locked.
There's not golden correct way to do it - the trick is to either know how to do it simply and elegantly first time, or take a logical stab at getting it done another way without sitting up til midnight for hours pulling your hair out over a slight shift here and there. That'll lose you money.
Weld that fucker up.
