If I make a new tab to build on the existing fans it doesn't come up in the search function, so how do I reference it in the print campaign?
facebook.com/yadayada/?sk=app_17... it's ugly as hell.
We're thinking "Visit campaign name on facebook.com/yadayada" but I am afraid it will throw people off. Most people can't seem to get their way with subnav in facebook and to build a new page for each campaign seems like a waste of the previously built fan base.

hum, so if I create a new domain (or sub) and direct it to my facebook tab mr. zuckerberg will not be angry? I'll still be driving my traffic to his site, so I think he should be happy. ok, thanks for the help guys.

ok, I thought about this solution, we have a microsite for the campaign, so I would use www.microsite.com/facebook.
any of you guys know if I can redirect this to the proper tab without browser security warnings?
I don't want to start the user experience with some security warning.

AOL Keyword 2.0

I am not from the states, so I just google "AOL Keyword 2.0" and still didn't fully understand what you meant. I infer that you had that problem over the atlantic with ads that referred aol keywords instead of urls, is that right?

Hehehe. I am sure they get lots of complaints about it. While they don't change it and our clients are directing our print ads to facebook I guess we need to get creative about it.
The worst part is we still get 30% to 50% traffic on our websites from people who google the url or site name instead of writing it on the URL bar. How are these people going to find a campaign that runs on a facebook tab and is advertised on traditional media?
