Hate to say it, but im a bit nervous for you folks living in NYC at the moment. Im sure there will be some retaliation of some sort.

Half the world is in denial over the nature of these wars in the middle east.

As much as I agree there are some corrupt motives for war, Iraq especially, I don't think the Zeitgeist/ Loose Change arguments add up to much. Obviously OBL being killed is kind of a threat to the 9/11 truther mindset, so they all immediately declare it fake without any evidence that it is.

truthers are people who are advocating a proper investigation, who are seeking the real truth about what happened on 911... people including the NYC fire department and numerous witnesses

'Most of them seem to have already made their minds up'
Some have. If even one thing about 911 doesn't add up, then it is a fair, logical and natural reaction to question it.
Outright believing it was done by Muslim extremists is just as crazy as outright believing it was an 'inside job'.

Yeah the other side of this are all the people who have already made up their mind Osama and alqueda were fully responsible without any substantial evidence besides hearsay. I was being told he did it since 9/12 by the news, it took me at least 2 years to think "wait a second... there's lots more to this story"

The religious rites were performed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70)

Well Al Queda have said they did it.
But I guess that's the problem I have with all this "inside job" stuff, aside from the sketchy evidence, people can't seem to paint a convincing storyline. Sometimes you hear that Al Queda wasn't actually responsible (although they have said they are), sometimes that Al Queda or OBL did do it but they're a CIA invention, etc...
The truther movement doesn't seem to apply the incredibly high standards to their own theories that they do to 9/11 itself.

Not interested in getting into a 911 debate, got bored of that years ago. However, as far as I am aware, there is literally no proof either way.
The fact that they said they did it (if they even exist - maybe they do/maybe they don't - I personally can't confirm that, don't think you can either) means absolutely fuck all.

OSB claiming responsibility for 9/11

Believe what you want I guess, but he at least seems to believe it

Bin Laden didn't blow up the projects..

I just read a long winded statement about the issues and effects of the 911 attacks 4 years after, not an admission nor claim of responsibility. Obviously Osama was a major suspect and obviously he has carried out attacks before over similar issues, he has something to say over all sides of the issue and he just did... but he didn't say he did it.
- Its impossible to say he was actually behind 911 based on that statement.eieio

Yeah I mean I think the most compelling evidence is that the actual hijackers had personal ties to Al Queda and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. So maybe it's more accurate to say KSM is the operational planner of the operation while Osama was more of the figurehead. But he was definitely the founder and leader of Al Queda, which like you said committed a bunch of attacks besides 9/11.

I'm not sure is any evidence the CIA personally funded Bin Laden, they might have supported Islamist Afghans more generally who were fighting the Soviets.

It's definitely an interesting story, but then again U.S. supported all kinds of insurgents and questionable people at various points (Saddam Hussein for instance), not all of whom are still our friends.

The US military also dumped Megatron into the ocean. This could be bad.... This could be really bad! ;)
