I've designed the media kit for my largest client for two years running. Email me if you'd like to see PDFs. 2010 was a perfect bound 36 page book. This year was silver wire-o bound, but basically same format otherwise. Quite a few images and info graphs. Format somewhat similar to an annual report.

    • I would love to get it too if you don't mind? have to work on one next month...OSFA
    • would you still have samples of your work gramme?HijoDMaite

    • HijoDMaite have you considered to keep the communication materials as low as possible. in my opinion more tools you generate less real contact you get...sted
    • i know that people in marketing require these tools but if you create things targeted (using predesigned templates) closer relationship you can build...sted
    • sure i hear you.HijoDMaite

sted are you saying keep the packet smaller and simpler?

    Maybe just

    -Biography
    -Statement
    -Business Cards
    -Exhibitions and Shows
    -Published Articles
    -Photo

It would certainly be less work for me.

    • definitely, if you can make the bio to a journey they going to love it, because you're telling a story not just listing some facts...but this is just my opinionsted
    • it's good advise and appreciated! going to note in the other thread that you are contributing.HijoDMaite

How much of a cross over would we see between brand guidelines and a press kit, just out of interest? I see so much information in brand guidelines now, which is great, but could all this be in someway amalgamated to make one concise brand booklet?

    • There wouldn't be much crossover, I would think, other than basic info about logo usage. The press kit is more for editorial purposes, the content of which isContinuity

    • Thanks man. Makes sense. Just designing brand guidelines at the moment and considering expanding contentIanbolton
