Bridge, PS Batch Question

    i was editing a ton of photos last night and might have stumbled across something i didn't expect to happen.

    I have an action in Photoshop that is basically this:

    Open RAW image > Open in Photoshop > Adjust Size > Save Image

    Now, if in creating that action I adjusted any photo aspects in the RAW editor, would that be included in the Action? I noticed that some photos looked drastically different than they did when i took them, so when I turned off Preview in the RAW editor, they went back to how I had them originally. So, it potentially threw off what i wanted to do, which was just re-size the original photos, not adjust their appearance.

    Thanks if you have any knowledge of this.

    Were they shot in Adobe 1998 RGB, but the photoshop process checkbox "convert profile to sRBG" was set?

    I used Bridge CS5
    Tools ->Photoshop->Image Processor

    is "Include ICC profile" checked?

    and/or are the XMP files in a different location, like on a different hard drive than them images?

    • there are different ways to do this, sometimes with different unpredictable resultsvaxorcist

    I'll have to take a look at this. Originally, all the XMP files were in the same location; I only moved them after the batch conversion (well, I moved the ones created from the batch conversion just to organize my folder better).

    I'll check this stuff out when I'm at home this evening. I've got CS4.
