what's funny is JParallax has so much code for such a simple effect..
I'm glad a lot of people want to go this way.. deal with essays of code.
Didn't Steve Jobs say that mouse events like mouse overs and stuff are stupid and pointless when you have touch? LOL..
What's funny is that EVERYONE that deals with Javascript and HTML is doing this parallax thing now.. it's hilarious.. like it's the only cool thing really applicable to the page design and now everyone wants to do it :)
But on a more serious note.
The parallax effect in those examples doesn't really do the same things..it's close but your example in Flash also reacts as you go with your mouse up and down and then zooms everything in, giving it another layer of depth..
just something I noticed.. if you are trying to emulate this in JS.
- you obviously didn't look very closely.eficks
- ps. fuck off.eficks
- I'm kinda getting tires of parallax, TBH.Continuity
- *tired
Continuity - eficks.. I did look closely..none of those JS examples really have layers zooming in and out as you move mouse up and down.. they only move the layers up and down not in and out..Boz
- and down.. they only move the layers up and down not in and out..Boz

Btw.. that Flash example is done so well.. it looks beautiful.. I'll think you'll shit bricks to emulate it exactly like that, especially with the whole zooming in on click and then showing alternative content..

boz you were right. it's pretty crap compared to the flash version.
i'm sure a jquery programmer could come up with something similar if actually trying to copy it. i am just not that person.
