I'm a pretty fair weather regular season sports fan, but there's nothing better than playoff hockey - and playoff basketball for that matter since we've got the Hawks and Bulls in the playoffs right now.
Gotta figure the 3rd period is gonna be ugly!

The way this game is going, and when games are seriously physical like this, and stem from a decent rivalry, I always think: no matter who wins, how the hell can the line up at the end and shake hands? Really one of the most amazing moments of mutual respect in sports, even if they don't mean it. That part of the last game always gives me chills.

bummed that habs lost on that goal. wish they would have pulled through on that one. carey price gonna get booed next game. after they lost i put on my habs tshirt.
want to see ovechkin succeed. bummed to see mike green take a slapper off the head, feel bad for the guy.
really pulling for stevie y to get tampa bay somewhere in the first year. amazing how much ownership + good management changes things. love roloson too, would like to see him win a cup.
philly and buffalo, don't really care. pretty obvious that philly has a huge hole in between the pipes by their carousel crease. not a fan, but i like mike richards. fuck pronger. hope that guy doesn't play the rest of the playoffs.
want sharks/kings to go to seven, really pulling for the kings. not a fan of the sharks, really, but feel they'll win, which is why i want it to go to seven.
want vancouver (luongo) to choke. he is not a high-pressure goaltender, and it's pretty obvious.
red wings are awesome. love them.
nashville and anaheim is an interesting series. great goaltending (rinne) great story (emery). hate the goons on the ducks (getzlaf, perry) but like selanne having a great season at age 40 and really, really like ray emery and his story. really happy for that guy.
