I'm hoping someone can help me find some specific images..
I need to find examples and imagery for the 40s,50s, 60s visions of future city.. you know like kind of metropolis and Flash Gordon city or maybe like Bioshock feel even though it was under water.. like vehicles flying and all that..
Images of future city with chrome accent and domes on top of buildings and stuff a person from 40s,50s,60s would imagine future would look like.
Something like Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow movie..
If you know or have seen stuff like this, done in 3d, or from movies, or from games please share.
Thanks.

Boz - Real life example, Brasilia (the capital of Brazil) was a 60's vision of the future (architecture wise)
Here are some domes:

I used to love Roger Deans work
He was a graphic artist doing album covers and mad shit in the 70's nice take on the subject
he ended up designing a few buildings

Retrofuturism is the phrase you're looking for Boz.
The future, as seen from the past. As opposed to the likes of steampunk retrofuturism, the past as seen from the future.
