Has anyone effectively established a Google Docs workflow in multi-user environment where layout and graphics matter? The ability to simultaneously work on the same file and see each others changes seems immensely valuable from a collaboration standpoint, but from a graphical standpoint it seems like all the generated content would need to be ported back out into InDesign or some other graphical program because of the huge limitations on fonts images and formatting.

Google Docs basically sucks still. It's ugly and has a ton of bugs. The undo function is jacked, and multi-user is poor. It's also free, so it doesn't surprise me that it's a piece of shit.

I have done this twice at two separate companies.
At one company we tracked all development and design resources at a very high level on goog docs. Basically who was scheduled on what project within a 6 week period. It worked ok but some overzealous project managers would over book and re-write others schedules.
I am using google docs currently to track ongoing and pending projects - tasks, progress, resources, and delivery...I found a document that I modified....
