Well its really down to being unable to style the scrollbars in a select box. I tried jscrollpane but couldnt get it to work with select boxes.
So i figured switch the option list to a regular ul list and style the scrollbars of the div.

Ok, take a look at what I sent you - that changes the select options into ul and li elements - then override the css styling from there...

something similar but it uses <li> not option select. (so has arrow scrolling instead of true scroll)
