Philamade Site Nite!
"Our audacious goal is to design and build PhilaMade.com (along with its partner Shopify site) all in one 10 hour Site Nite work session.
This is going to be an epic feat of webdesignery, authored by PhilaMade’s amazing community of volunteer members, video and photo archived, and tweeted/blogged to give onlookers a live peak into a grand experiment.
RocketHub 'Site Nite' funds will be used for production costs associated with:
* Producing/printing Shopify merchandise
* Site hosting/registration/software costs
* Video production costs archiving ‘Site Nite’
* Food and drinks and drinks supporting the hard working volunteers building PhilaMade.com in this insane adventureAny funds exceeding our goal will go toward sponsoring future PhilaMade events, can you say "Launch Party"?
PhilaMade is dedicated to to celebrating, inspiring and cultivating creative brilliance in the Philadelphia community. With over 100 members (and rapidly climbing), PhilaMade authors content driven events including Show & Tell and roundtable discussions, and hosts purely social events like happy hours and meetups. Additionally, PhilaMade partners directly with undergraduate and graduate programs in the Philadelphia area, arming them with the resources and insight of our membership."
