It seems most email campaign services requires their users to use a "opt in" feature because of the anti-spam policies. Is there a way to work around it? We currently have a list of about 500 contacts that we want to send weekly emails to w/o them having to "opt in". I'm wondering how I get spams when I never signed up for anything.

Privacy should also concern you. If you haven't explicitly told people that giving you their email address will add them to your mailing list, you could be BREAKIN DA LAW

You're going to run into legal issues without it. Been at several companies where we did mobile and web application dev. Opt-in/out was legally required by carries for anything we did.
