looks like a 35 dollar template.

remove the lines. don't think they are needed.
also, keep the subhead with the rest of the copy. don't split it up like it's a ugly duck who can't join the cool kids.

also, that green bar that runs across should be removed.
this site has more bars then in a jail cell.

that logo set it handwriting dakota with matching tagline is a bit lazy. and the black swirling dots dont really help. also, the buttons all look too bold and cheep. on the 4th slider, i thought: "wow, look at all the blond people."
overall, if i was to stumble across this site, i'd probably move on.

1. TOO MUCH GREEN!!
- drop the saturation on that top header background somewhat
2. The massive buttons are too much - the cta choice of watching the demo or 'starting now' (whatever that entails) are covered in the (far too quickly rotating) sections above that.
3. THe login/sign up buttons look bad, check out some buttoning advice at http://www.smashingmagazine.com/…
Buttons look easy, but they're fucking hard to get perfect which they always always have to be.
The bar containing the dots showing feature progress and arrows is unnecessary.
4. The main 'logo' is bad and too big.
5. The green bar separating the footer from the main page body is unnecessary, lose it and make the footer have a darker background.6. Lost the narrow gradients on stuff or tone it down greatly.
Other than that it's a simple, solid design. Think about heirachy of what's most important, what you want to tell people and what you want them to do.. Graphically, investigate some new typefaces, tone down the schoolbook colors and slow down that feature rotator thing and you'll be there.

1. Orange and green is a horrible combination.
2. Hyphens instead of bullet points.
3. Bad logo is bad. But maybe you have no control over that.
4. The "featured" video tucked in the corner at the bottom of the page and smaller than some of the buttons at the top.
5. Unnecessary arrow controls; just clicking the dot in the sequence should do the same job.

Thanks for the suggestions. Pretty harsh/blunt, but well appreciated. Are the lines that annoying? I just don't want to have issues with screen size, so that was the easiest way to hedge.
