Thanks epill, I was trying to figure out what you meant with Captain America... There are 20 Cubelets in the Standard Kit, and they're about 40mm on a side. More dimensional information in a couple of topics in the forum for the competition: http://www.modrobotics.com/forum…

20 cubes in a box.. the old style giant robots from the 60s came in those styerfoam giant boxes with all the parts embeded into the foam.. with the largest fonts all tech robo style.. my fav boxes are the Godaiken toys. that would be cool for your product.. you can mold easy access placement into the foam for storing your cublets..
- even the old style matchbox cars case that had the trays inside, you can remold the traysepill
- and then you can store your cubelets inside this carry case with top handle, great for kids.epill
- what you need is a bag, not a box.. and a simple hangtag..
done et done..epill - like this..
http://images.shopgo… would be a great "package for the kids"epill - like how nostalgic is a trapper keeper to every mid aged adult.. thats what you want..epill
- grab your kids today with youry cubots.. and put subliminal messages in the mechanisms..epill

all kidding aside cubeletzz, do you have a production manager for this? Once you select a "winning" design, what happens?
- randommail0
... and after selecting a winning design, will you require the designer to continue working on tweaks and revisions until your company is completely happy with the final designs? And then continue to work with the printer/manufacturer in China until the dielines and files are ready for prepress? And what if the first sample doesn't come back exactly the way everyone thought it was going to be? Will you require the designer to revise or redo the winning design?
- I'm not having a go at you cubeletzz. Just giving you a heads up or reminder so you're prepared.randommail
- Oh no, none of that. Winner gets their prize and we take it from there. Printing and mfg packaging in the USA, btw.cubeletzz

site is dead?
- Akiraprise0
maybe do a magento developer contest first?
- epill0
are you asking for a concept art or an actual package design real in your hand product?
if its just concept art, i can do that, i cant cut things out and stuff like that.. im sure if its just concept art, i could win.. or lose..

"Submissions can take any form including renderings, physical mock-ups, cardboard sculptures, interpretive dance videos, etc. Email submissions to: or send them via any carrier to: Modular Robotics, ATTN: PKG, 2500 Pearl Street #310, Boulder, CO 80302, USA. The submissions will be judged by a panel of three expert designers shortly after the submission deadline. You will be notified via email and the winning entries will be posted on our blog. Modular Robotics will own all rights to submitted designs."
- it's that last line that makes me edgy.detritus
- ahh i never read teh fine print.. so you claim all ownerships.. well i think im out of it then..epill
- Would it make you less edgy if we changed it so that we own rights only to the winning design?cubeletzz
- yes to Cubeletzz's questionrandommail
- randommail0
I wonder what this resulted in.
