Does anyone know if Illustrator/Photoshop will transfer to a new Mac via firewire transfer or does it require a reinstall?

Re-install would be better to make sure all of your components are in the right places.

yeah you can just copy it to as many computers as you want.

Crap...gotta find the install discs then. Otherwise I guess I'll just cross my fingers.

if you just copy the application, i think it will ask for the serial.

if you're in OS 9 you can just make a disc image of everything in toast then boot off the cd and drag it all to your new hd.

I just transfered all my stuff from an old iMac to a new one (using my Time Machine back-up). All the adobe programs transferred over but I had to re-activate the programs by calling adobe and getting a key.
- What CS were you using? I've got CS3 at home...CincodeMayo
- CS3 at home, too.Gnash

Transferring CS3 from my old PPC iMac'd HD to the new intel MBP was no problem.

use migration assistant.(in utilities folder) it'll grab everything but like akrok, said you will proly need the serial.
