He painted very large scale close-up paintings of the ocean... very subtle tones. He also did an impressive piece of a crashing wave... at night i think... big mural. He also did an installation of slowly falling sand blown by a fan... it made a "wavelike sculpture"

Big huge bag of sand suspended and slowly leaked out. there was a fan the blew the sand and made this amazing drift.
