Our company took on a 150k project (full CMS and e-comm) for 50k recently, and to help cut costs on our end we're only contractually obligated to design 5 wireframe templates for a 26 page website.
Home
Products
Products Detail
Health Type Overview
Contact UsDoes anyone else see a problem with that? Home, products, products detail and contact us are all single-usage templates, which means we basically have one template to cover the remaining 22 pages.
*Sigh*

I don't speak web, someone translate this for me.

eh, you might want to look at a prepackaged solution for the ecomm part of this... besides the fact that you could save some money from a development perspective, you might also have to wireframe less, given that its architecture would already be determined...

Originally 150k for 5 wireframes and cms/ecomm ?
Did they want a totally ground-up bespoke ecomm and cms then ?
How man products, etc ? Surely you can squeeze out a few variations of wireframes within a meaningful 'family' ?

"Health Type Overview" << what's that?

you're done with the wireframes yet?

WTF? Buy a template and move on. Sounds a bit silly, to be honest. And yes, what the heck is a Health Type Overview page?
This will be a very interesting e-commerce site without any checkout page designs.

They seem to have cheap customers, and if that's the case they won't really mind to see the same layout on each page.
They might actually enjoy it.
