How do I need to convert video from my digital camera and iphone to burn to dvd so they'll play in a [old low tech uk] dvd player? Not a clue with stuff like this. Will .mov work?

I have a mac and toast 10. So if I use burn to dvd it will work on a dvd player [old] not just on a computer with quicktime installed?

Don't know how to convert though.

I'd try to convert the .mov file to a .vob file, dump it in a VIDEO_TS folder and burn.

aye toast does that, so vob is the best format?
