A father protecting his child touched me on a emotional level. Also loved the realism of the close up of the eyes, and the shatter of the glass through the window. I truly loved it.

can't understand why the greatness of this trailer needs to be quantified. i mean, to each their own opinion, but i personally haven't seen anything close to this in my time on the planet. they took a genre that's been done to death for the last 15 years and presented in a cinematic light with emotion using a nice musical piece. the pacing gave it a more artistic feel letting you absorb the action rather than just cramming it down your throat ala any fps game out there. it's just something different, that many of us appreciate, that's all.

maybe because depicting the utter ruination of a family without any real subtext and making the violent death of a little girl its centerpiece all in the name of "fun" is about as cynical as one can get.
Ok sure it's a "well made" video game trailer. But its content sucked. For me, anyway. But who cares right? Have at it, enjoy your "shooting zombies" game.- i don't equate that to fun. it's a fictional story piece that, not unlike a book or movie, but one that engages you interactively.SteveJobs

I'm a huge zombie fan and I've played tons of zombie games... this doesn't look any different from a resident evil trailer.

I think the reason why people enjoyed this trailer is because they secretly hope for an apocalypse of some kind,
the trailer was kind of interresting but i'm getting really sick of zombies.

to me RE is more about buff type-a action hero vs. zombie army. there's no real emotion, just adrenaline and maybe save the prez's daughter or trade one-liners with cool asian chick in red dress and sunglasses - the kind of stuff cleary inspired by 80's action movies..i love re - but this *looks* very different to me, and thus my appreciation for it. of course, others may enjoy it for completely different reasons..
- ok, thats fine... but the end result isnt that amazing. it looks just like every other game trailer. game play wont be like that trailersofakingbanned
