We're looking for a Processing.js artist/designer/developer/geek to help out with a data visualization. Any QBNers interested?
We posted it on Krop too – http://www.krop.com/jobs/w5t2t/
Cheers!

I see you used "geek" as part of the job description. I suppose that rules out "ninja" or "guru".
- rock star?linearch
- 'Sponge'Bargels
- Ninja, Guru, Rockstar are all suitable monikers for the ridonkulous skill level required.

Why does it need to be Processing.JS? You're rendering it out right?
- We could go Illy>AE but that seems so 2004. Plus data set may change as there is a client involved.

@rounce Yep, the finished animation will be rendered as QT. We could go Illustrator > AE, or even straight to AE, but the data set may change so Processing feels like the right tool for the job.
Why? Got any other ideas?

But why processing.js, and not processing?
You might consider Cinder as well.

I got some experience.
Demo:

Yeah if it's rendered to video you want to use Processing, not Processing.js.
.js is the canvas renderer version so only works in the web browser.

Seems like Stewdio is your man, check out this recent project of his, sound like exactly what you're looking for:

Why does it even have to be in Processing? IMO VVVV is far better suited to what you want, (I could do it 4x faster than with Processing).

Thanks all! We found someone for the gig.
And fugged and animatedgif are correct. I should have been asking for Processing and not Processing.js.
