Have a client which wants an editable Powerpoint file of a presentation, but it's originally composed in Indesign? Any tips? on downsaving it to powerpoint

You have to dumb down the fonts to what ever font the client has.

They aren't really concerned on the fonts they want all the imagery in powerpoint in the the right layout they are asking for

Ask your client before hand if he will also be wanting you to transfer those powerpoint slides onto a sega mega drive at a later date.

You give them something editable and you're out of a job...well, that's harsh, but, they will "take it from there" if you know what I mean. Can't really complain or else you seem like you're difficult to work with, and if you try to reason with them you'll just sound whiney and pompous. It's a real lose-lose situation.
