I can barely look at it...everything is just...too big, too restricted. I feel like I'm being choked by a stock wordpress theme.

I saw this on Gizmodo this morning. I guess all the gawker sites got the new treatment? Personally, I don't like it at all. I'm not sure a paginated theme works well for them. Also, the first page that loaded was blank for me. No scroll bars, what happens if you don't have a scroll wheel?

They're focusing on touchscreen consumption models, I guess.
They really should make the article navigation clearer—I can't imagine how 'normal' users are supposed to just get that.

They should have rolled it out in preview mode, it was dumb to unilaterally impose it across all their sites like this. I think there's some interesting UI ideas in there though.
