who's behind this? any us bad infiltrations? or an authentic local revolution? it's intriguing to see mubarak not giving up, history lessons say revolutions end-up in the favour of the unarmed, of the many.

It's depressing not to see Mubarak not giving up.
Hope the Egyptian people don't end up with another Tiananmen Square type confrontation.

in tunisia the president left the power in peace, there's hot climate in that area, sadly

us was supporting the opposition, so i don't think what was a plan

I don't belief US supports the opposition...US has always supported Egypt because they are a moderate state that recognizes Israel. With Mubarak gone, it's likely whatever emerges in Egypt will be more anti-US.

Which is not to say that US supports Mubarak in particular or dictatorship....just that that's what has been more convenient for them.
I think this whole thing caught the US by surprise
- works for me then. it would be fair to be a pure local revolution, just the spirit of the masses against mubarak and dictatorship. that's an even fight with only one possible winner.shoto_can

^ agreed, are they making way for a more radical islamist state? same with Tunisia, the radicals in exile have been welcomed back.

i'm curious when is the army gonna take the crowd's side(i asume this will happen)

tomorrow 1mil civilians are expected to be in cairo. let's hope that 1.35mil army once leaded by mubarak wont fire against civilians.
