you can also re-direct to a sub-domain

@jetSkii - surely that would still just re-direct to the blog page though (eg http://test.blogspot.com/) Whereas I want to extract the posts from the blog and add them to a page of my own

sounds like you want to parse the rss for the blog and output the contents the <div>

Bingo, thanks anli.
Do you know if there are any downsides to doing this (apart from the obvious duplicate content thing)

None that I've encountered. Make sure the host site for the blog allows hot linking of images.
it might be tricky to get the script running *just* how you want it.

iframe kludge-o-matic may work...
using asp to parse rss is something I did years ago, found it rather tweeky/easily broken when I found oddball characters pasted in from MS-Word by client staff who admin the blog side of things..... maybe it's improved... I found filtering crap characters easy in PHP but no so easy in ASP

you may know this, but here's an approach:
1. host wordpress blog on a unix/linux/php server, use a subdomain
2. write RSS parsing script on your ASP machine to read stuff from the wordpress websiteor
2. modify template of blog to add a page with only the content you want on your asp page, formatted exactly, then use an iframe on the asp code to include the modified blog stuff in a box on your page.

you can use subtext, a windows blogging engine too... or wordpress on a windows host, but less easy than a unix host...
