Dear programmers,
Tabs are not a solution to every problem
- you can keep your scattered windows...I'd rather have tabs.dbloc
- Why not?maquito
- Just look how fucking retarded tabs made photoshopanimatedgif
- yea tabs in photoshop are retarded, i agree.********
- so if a feature doesn't work in Photoshop then it can't be used anywhere else? what kind of stupid logic is THAT??CanHasQBN

I used Forklift for a while, but yea, can get glitchy. Looks like they are out with a new one since, 2.0 that appears to have FTP functions. Might be worth a look...

That's like saying a browser with tabs is confusing.

I use TotalFinder. It's probably the best lil app in OSX. Totally wrth every penny of $15 bucks (or use the beta and just keep clicking the cancel button for the upgrade)

Grandpa: "Tabs are 'confusing'."
Go back to DOS.

No glitches with TotalFinder. When I used Pathfinder from CocoaTech..that had way too many glitches to use..that seemed like overkill anyway.

maybe I'll try totalfinder for myself sounds like mixed reviews

I just remember where i put stuff.

@dbloc
It's your choice man, everyone has their preferences. I like having multiple windows open and using the shortcut to go through them; however, i love having tabs on my browser. To each their own, i'd say.
- dbloc0
definitely a preference. I just find tabs easier.

what i'd really like to see is a finder alternative to work in the open/save dialog boxes. that'd be the shit. as far as i can tell, none have that ability.

Cool concept.

I prefer quicksilver to finder. I dump everything into one area and search the shit out of it.
- Love QS.. It's all over now though i thought.Naygon
- it's being somewhat updated on google code: http://code.google.c…mightyj

^^there's Alfred, it's similar to quicksilver with some nice touches
