Not that it is really that huge a deal, but the whole not supporting h.264 thing made me wonder, could you really quit using Google products if you wanted to?
By that I mean Google Search, Gmail, Chrome, YouTube, Adwords, Analytics, Maps...all that stuff.
There are alternatives to all of these things to be fair, but in some cases like search they just aren't very good. People always threaten to boycott or stop using a company's products as a way to protest unfair behavior, but what do you do when a company dominates its market so completely?

You have to buy an iphone and not get flash.

Why would you stop using something that is great?

And then when I search on the iPhone...oh shit! Google :)

Why would you start this thread?

Well OK, it's true they are not evil. I really don't know why I felt the need to complain.

Google pretty much have me by the balls.
I consider their email service to be excellent and their search is the easiest and best. If they started killing children I probably still wouldn't be able to make myself stop using their services.
So much of what I do involves using Google's services. Whether I like it or not I'm pretty much stuck with them.
- Lol.
Killing children would make my google usage experience better if anything.Hombre_Lobo

The trend is to hate Apple. So, hate Apple instead of Google.

considering that I've NEVER had a problem with any of their products I'm glad that they're around and providing a free service

The main advantage they have is search. Gmail and Chrome are well-designed products but I can switch if I really need to.
In search on the other hand there is a quantifiable difference between Google and the other engines. Google simply crawls a much larger amount of data more frequently, and is able to deliver more relevant results. I mean cmon, the nearest competitor is something called "Bing":) - pretty much a joke.
- i think chrome looks like shit. ref. to the mark/icon.akrokdesign

Fuck Breville and their overpriced warez - personally I'm going to jump shit and start buying Sunbeam. My Breville toaster is a piece of shit, never toasts evenly and the setting knob is super sensitive and always getting bumped to the maximum setting.

There is a way. But you'd have to learn to read Chinese.
