Hey Moldero, you have to bear in mind the innumerable "less than 5' " changes that come along with the job...
A good move is to set it up for free, and charge for changes and maintenance. And of course you cannot break down your hour unit to less than 1/2... or 1/4 if you are really generous.

creating a facebook page = 10 minutes of work
adding content = 10 minutes of work
creating tabs and adding full column artwork (like gap or pepsi) is something totally different then creating a facebook page.
http://www.facebook.com/pepsiyou can get a little creative with the profile pic & tagged pictures, + a video or image to create almost a 3/4 page "image", but other than that facebook can't be modified even slightly. it's not like twitter where you can add background images and change font colors.
that being said.

social media companies charge any where from 5,000 to 15,000 for a custom page...

- buddy media, involver... companies like that can make tabs like the ones you see on the pepsi pageEPtype
- I priced custom tabs out last year with a bunch of companies... I ended up teaching myself fbml because it was so priceyEPtype
- was so pricey.... its really not that hard if u know how to code.EPtype

fb pages are just like anything else... they can be as involved and as complicated as you want... sort of...

um... what does the client want? Big, small, deep, shallow... charge appropriately... now ongoing maintenance, now that's where the real gravy is... sell high, settle just below high...
