Does anyone know a remote software with which i can navigate on my apple tv without using the remote app or itunes?
Practically the the "Remote" App just for OS X.Couldn't find anything with google.

I wan't to have a small app where you can change music and see whats on the apple tv, navigate etc. while working on the mac.
So I don't have to take the remote (or iphone) turn round and to be honest the remote, even the new alu one, doesn't really work well if your not standing in front of it.

You could always just hook your Mac directly up to your TV and not use the Apple TV at all. That way you can control it with your keyboard or the remote.

You can use your itunes on your mac to play through your apple TV through airplay. Same with your phone. so basically you can do all your browsing and what not through itunes. although not sure if it works with movies, but I cant imagine why not.
Just make sure your apple tv is awake.
