Annual report time and...
I'm wondering if there is a way to scale multiple ungrouped items, at the same time and have them maintain their exact position.
I'm having to go in and scale every one individually and I'm wondering if there is a better way???
The selected items need to stay exactly where they are but I need to bump them all up about 25%...
Helllllp??

Transform Each?

Put everything as they are into a new layer, group, scale, ungroup. No?

If I group them, it scales them as if there is a bounding box that is dictating the position. Meaning everything moves down and to the left.
I'm having no issues doing it by selecting the individual object and transforming the +25% (4 steps) but I've got about 300 of these to do.
Is there a way to maintain XY position when scaling multiple items? Basically I need illustrator to respect the individual center points and not the entire selection's center point... if that makes sense...
Ugh.. and on a saturday...
I'm stumped.

Oh oh oh I get what you're saying. Isn't there something you can do with the 'reset bounding box'? What though, I don't know. Sorry :(

you has to find a way to scale locally as oposed to globally, sorry not much help

Or maybe reduce the horizontal width of grid and axis and scale the whole thing up together?
