What are people using now instead of Papervision for 3D within flash?

Got a Flash project that involves some 3D elements and I'm not really up to speed with what people are using these day, any help much appreciatted..

Didnt you hear? Flash is dead, or at least, not the king of doing things on the web anymore. Seriously I would reconsider putting lots of energy into producing elaborate work using flash. The first thing that will happen is that someone will say 'that's pretty cool!' - how come we can't see it on the iPad and iPhone and whatever tablets are out at the time.
That EXACT thing happen to my colleague. Produced this super 3D rotating globe thing and by the time it was done everyone was disappointed it was not able to run on an iPad.

Use swift 3d or use CS5

i just draw out each frame on toilet paper and whack some lens flares on it. BOOM!

also, just in case you are easily swayed by silly comments, Flash is not dead, its still largely in use and still a pretty crucial format.
Just be aware of its limitations in terms of ipad and iphone.

Of course flash is not dead yet - but there is a quetion you need to ask yourself when producing new work; how limited do you want to make your audience? If you you work to be limited to people at desktop or laptop computers, ok, go crazy with Flash and Papervision or whatever. But if you want mostly anyone with a screen to see what you have done, meaning iphone, ipade, androids, and other new tablets (netbooks) you need to design it differently. Think about how many iphone and ipads are already out there, not to mention androids, etc...
