100% swf banner

I'm currently working on a website that needs a flash banner rotator with different backgournd colours that fade with the content but the content needs to remain a fixed size in the centre.
Please can anyone help with a tutorial?

to help things if there is anyway of doing this with jquery or actionscript to change the background colour of the swf that would be great

open flash, content on top frame.
second frame, make a square, F8 turn into vector, then tint to change color. then tween it w classic, like so

i understand the tint and making the swf 100% but how can i do this just on a movieclip for example background_mc will hold the background colour and be 100% and the content_mc will be a fixed size in the middle of the screen

is there anyway of changing a mc color or swf background with xml?

how are you embedding the swf? tried changing the background color of the container div?
