Client really wants double spaces after every period. Problem is, it leads to this nonsense:
http://cl.ly/fb7c114e9ce950c7b22…Are there any CSS properties that will make nbsp not carry over after a line break?
- akrok0
tell them no.

Just point out that it's grammar for children and will make them appear ignorant – that usually works.

It's one of those situations where I'm exhausted and left at "yes, dear."

Have you asked them for their thinking?

I think people that use double spaces after periods should be put down. Unless they are typewriting. Or travelling back through time and not wanting to get mistaken for someone from the future.

What akrok said.... tell them know.
This is a carry over from using a typewriter. Yes its very old school.
When type went digital, including on the web the space after a period was adjusted for this.
