So I figured out how to get around the manual focus turning issue. Just hit the focus button, then fine tune with the ring

Always blown away by the quality of the lens... just hate that damn focusing ring!

I wanted the X100 but couldn't justify the price so I bought an X10 instead.

How are you finding it? I was tempted by an X10 (due to the price as well), but disappointed that they've dropped the aperture ring and dedicated shutter speed dial that the X100 has.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'm in no means a professional photographer or even an advanced enthusiast. I was just looking for a good camera to replace the Lumix LX3 my wife dropped on the concrete. Ever since then I've been shooting with a cheap $120 point and shoot or my iphone so anything has to be better than those.

Show some pics dude! Looks like a great cam, getting some ace reviews. Seems my current fave premium compact (the LX5), might not be my no1 anymore :O

i'm definitely getting an x10 when i go back to the states in a couple weeks. the exchange rate totally makes it worth it!

...except i just fucked around hard with an x100 and i gotta say, guys.. it's beauuuuutiful.
