Hey Seattle-ites and/or Washingtonians. We're taking a long weekend road trip and want to get some suggestions.
Our loose plan:
1. Friday - Drive down to stay the night on either Cannon Beach in Oregon or Long Beach in Washington.
2. Saturday - Drive up to La Push.
3. Sunday - Back home to Seattle.Any reason to avoid any of these places? Suggest a better plan, or something to see along the way? We're also thinking of a possible detour to the Hall of Mosses:

- Holy shit! Thank you! It's amazing. We're going West, not East, but that is definitely on the list for a future trip.autonoma

Hurricane Ridge? It's so beautiful and probably last chance to get there before winter.

Weird. I have my iTunes on random (10,415 songs). I was just about to mention something about the Goonies tour and Cyndi Lauper came on.

Since you're going to be driving up 101 I'm guessing. Lake Quinalt Lodge is really nice (regardless of the weather). Great place for lunch. There are some great rainforests nearby, and Sol Duc hot springs as well.

By the way, we ended up going to Cannon Beach and it was AMAZING. Really beautiful place and such a great little town. The drive there and back was beautiful, too. Just took random roads and highways. Highly recommended destination.

Thank you fooler, I´m gonna be in Seattle in 3 weeks, I think the Goonies tour is definitely on the list... I´m gonna be there during the Thanksgiving season which I´m told is complete chaos... I´m staying not far out of town, so I´d like to keep other activities local.... any other suggestions.... pweeeze¿? (damn spanish keyboards)
