Back when I was in school in 1998. :) I was amazed at what James Widegren was doing at threeoh. When I found his website I think he had a link there to newstoday.
Anyone know if he is still on here and if someone has a screen shot of his site for everyone.

When NT's discovery was first made public in 1880, it led to a bitter public controversy between experts which continued into the early 20th century, as many of them did not believe prehistoric man had the intellectual capacity to produce any kind of artistic expression.

when was in uni -- loved h74 (i think?) and they changed to Newstoday. Didn't really get the point of NT at first.
Years back, when on the phone to a designer friend of mind you'd hear "newwwstodayy" jingle mid conversation - became a joke when ever we didn't give a shit / weren't listening we'd say "newwstoday". Cool story!

My roommate in college who's a designer. This was back in early 00s. I remember always hearing the Newstoday jingle, which I miss. He would come for html tips, etc and then always want to show me funny stuff on here so I eventually became a frequent visitor.
Even though I'm not a designer it's been a daily site for me forever to check everything from design and photography links to news and Chick/Pic of The Day.
I never share it with anyone either. I like it that way.

During college in 2002 or 2003 I think.. A friend of mine pointed me to it.. I liked it back then.. it was much better, more design oriented.
Then I think it had a redesign or something, so we had to reregister or something similar.. Can't remember now..

I was at Bowie's place doing lines out by the pool with a few models when Mick said to me "hey you into the NT?" Naturally I thought it was some new narcotic going around but Mick said "No man the internet, dig". and whipped out his laptop. I never looked back. Wow the 70s. anything could happen.
- I do appreciate the time I've spent here with my fellow rockstarsDodecahedron

I didn't discover NT. I came in the QBN era. Someone was linking to something I made. I followed the links back and stuck around.
