fake.
even taking distorted perspective/ focal length into consideration.
the horizon line is ridiculously too sharp. there would be haze, blur, change of color....
- Hey, Cpt Obvious,
nice to see you regained your mental sharpness.

When I was a kid, my grandparents went to Florida all the time, and they gave me a postcard of the Space Shuttle on the launch pad with the moon huge in the background. I'm sure it was a real photo, but as a little kid I thought they launched from Florida because it was closer to the moon than anywhere else.

Laymen in general are amazed by stupid details like this and underestimate the craft of a skillful photographer

Its real its just a combination of the horizon illusion, a long lens compressing space and a crop removing any more size references.
- flip thru all the horrible P'shopped images in buddy's gallery and you be the judge.inkpink
- he puts a lot of shitty filters and effects on his photos but i don't see any that were entirely put together in PS********

A high res pic with a quality long lens and you could easily crop it like this. the moon is big but not huge. It would look normal size to the people though somewhat larger because it's low on the horizon, the long lens then makes it larger still.
the perspective and size of my version is probably off but you can see what was done
