hmm.. i wouldn't just take a look at logos specifically.. you should create a hip hop mood board..look up concert posters, cd covers, shit n*e*r*d wears etc... you'll find some hip-hop related brands don't use some of the obvious 'wild style' treatment
personally, i really like the direction clipse made with play cloth http://www.playcloths.com/
- Thanks Brandelec. Good suggestion. I'll start doing that.NickInfozure

Thanks for the help guys. There are a few gems here, even if most of the posts are merely reaffirming my opinion that most of the logos surrounding this genre are terrible.

He is a specialist RnB HipHop & Dub Step DJ. He's got a crazy music knowledge and has a pretty massive listener base. I'd say more than anything else that he's ahead of the game and plays new track very early on.
- Every DJ will claim to be a specialist and everyone has crazy music knowledge / is popular. None of this makes him unique.lukus_W
- him unique.lukus_W
- Talk to him about his history / how he got started .. nick names - that kind of thing. Find a unique hook for the identity.lukus_W
- Oh. Sorry. Fair enough. I'll pick out his more special features.NickInfozure
- Thanks Lukus_WNickInfozure
