erm, we've cross bred animals for centuries.
Look at all the domesticated dogs, do you think pug dogs come from the wild, with their messed up face where they can hardly breathe? no we created then, same with daschunds, they're stretched because we made them so, for hunting down badger holes.We also subjected seeds to radiation to mutate them, planted them and then harvested the tallest growing yields, that is true mutant food, and that was all in the 1950s we've been doing this stuff for years and suddenly it's wrong or weird when we do it in a much more controlled and safer way.
I for one am fine with it all
