FLV player problem

I've got a SWF with an FLV player in it, and when I look at that SWF on the server it all looks great.
Now when I place that SWF in an HTML page, I am seeing the video, but not the actually player, the skin. The SWF for the skin is on the server, and like I said I do see it fine when I view the SWF directly, just cant see the skin on the HTML page.
Here's the code in the HTML file:
<object id="FlashID" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="640" height="410">
</a></p>
<param name="movie" value="PATH TO SWF" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="swfversion" value="9.0.45.0" />
<!-- This param tag prompts users with Flash Player 6.0 r65 and higher to download the latest version of Flash Player. Delete it if you don’t want users to see the prompt. -->
<param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
<param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
<!-- Next object tag is for non-IE browsers. So hide it from IE using IECC. -->
<!--[if !IE]>-->
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="PATH TO SWF width="640" height="410">
<!--<![endif]-->
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="swfversion" value="9.0.45.0" />
<param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
<param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
<!-- The browser displays the following alternative content for users with Flash Player 6.0 and older. -->
<div>
<h4>Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player.</h4>
<p><a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer">
</div>
<!--[if !IE]>-->
</object>
<!--<![endif]-->
</object>

Might be a good idea to post a link to the SWF that holds the player and a link to the FLV....
- Dont know what you mean. Anyone here actually willing to help me fix the problem?CygnusZero4
- Link to the actual SWF and FLV. Your post above doesn't show any...fyoucher1

^ I took the exact paths out for the sake of this post because they link to an internal intranet. Donty see why thats relevant, need someone to just look at the code and see if something is wrong, or if they know why an HTML file wont show the actual FLV player itself.
- to check your paths.....fyoucher1
- The paths are fine, I mentioned it all works great when I view the SWF directly.CygnusZero4
- My point about that was you cant check the paths anyway, its all internal.CygnusZero4
- Throws in towel...fyoucher1

To check your paths...and check to see if there's a security issue..
- fyoucher10
The file path needs to be relative to the HTML page..that's why I was asking for a path...
Security: FLV needs to be in the same domain otherwise you need to set a cros domain policy file etc etc
- Gives up....fyoucher1
- The video is working fine, it just wont show the actual player controls.CygnusZero4

Shit. How is it possible that the SWF looks great with the player on the server, but the HTML file wont show the player, just the video?

fyoucher1 is right. It's a path issue to your skin. If for instance you have the skin file (something like SkinOverPlaySeekMute.swf), try linking to it with an absolute path instead of a relative path.

Its something with the HTML file. When I view that SWF on the server, everything looks great. And the HTML file will play the video, just not with the skin. Something in this HTML code is preventing the skin from showing up.
