Sorry, but who gives a shit about some puppies when actual people are being attacked malicious and intentional crimes. Is it wrong to throw puppies into a river? ffs people there are hundreds of organisations fighting crimes against humanity. It's just that there's often not much that can be done, so people are completely despondent about it.
the anger at these sorts of things is justified because it's completely unnecessary brutality against a completely helpless animal. And yes if I were to watch a documentary like The Cove or one on the way cats and other animals are killed for meat/fur, I'd be just as angry. If you search for The Cove on forums etc you'll find thereIS in fact a lot more anger about that.
So stop trying to be all against-the-mainstream by saying you don't give a fuck. It's an old argument.
