"In the interest of speeding things up, it’s tempting to skip over small details. This is an easy pitfall to which to succumb, but in the end, it can hurt your overall career."

This is the kind of thing that I'd like to send to an agency I've been working for locally...

To be honest, you'd think most of the stuff he wrote should be used by everyone all the time, but it's not.

"If you were designing their website, you would start with these cues. For instance, you might use polished and worn wood textures, touches of leather texture"I worked on a menu + website redesign (with photography of interior and food) and had this same approach. Cant really see any other way to approach it. seems logical.
- everything he wrote seems logical, but most people don't see itMiguex
- yeh thats true. my tutors banged on about layer naming all the time "you'll regret it later if you dont!!"Hombre_Lobo

More accurate, yes. Ideal, no.

My desk is usually tidy, but I think I'm on the minority, a creative person's desk should be all over the place, this should be a rule.
- My desk is super tidy. I can't stand having shit everywhere. I file things that are important. Easy to find, don't have to search.pastpastdue
