Might have to for the first time. Any advice?

reason?

Doublecheck legal.

Don't burn your bridges, that's for sure...
Maybe recommend another person to take over that project.
Be nice.
Don't give him a reason as to why you're "firing" him. Just keep it generic and part ways.

might be better just to act busy. :-)

I'm getting feedback like, "Not feeling this" with no specifics. It's the type of work that won't be making it in my portfolio because it's a corny concept the client came up with that they happen to think is brilliant. Last, I'm busy with other projects, have a full time job, a kid another kid on the way in 2 and a half weeks and I'm starting a Masters program in 2 weeks. I honestly don't have time for this shit.
- Be honest. Tell them that their feedback is empty and that to move forward they need to step up or you can help them find someone elselocustsloth

- Yeah, you may want to find someone to take over then. You prolly shouldn't have accepted it in the 1st place.fyoucher1
- I asked for more specifics. Waiting to see the response. That will dictate how I proceed i thinkGlitterati_Duane

Reply to his feedback :
"I'm sorry, nice to meet you..."

Just fire their ass. Not worth the head ache, sounds like. Plus, you will feel reeeeal good, afterwords.

Aight guys thanks lol

Man I never learn. Why don't I ever get my contracts strait before I start working?... This dude is trying to fire me first! lol.

Tell them, "No problem, I'll invoice you my kill-fee this afternoon."
- Christa0
Never work without an agreement with a kill-fee in it, and always get some money up-front. Serious clients invest deposits. Amazing how many juice boxes think they can run with your creative for free and poor you will have little recourse

From Angry Paul Rands Twitter...
Bad clients tell you how to do your job. Good clients let you do your job. Great clients write a check and get out of the way.

Is it Clearasil?

Easy.
"I don't think we're a good fit. Here's the names of some other designers who do good work and might be able to get you what you're looking for. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you. Good luck!"
