Hi friends! *cheesy smile*
Basically im just wanting to get some 3D objects, a mix of text and shapes etc to float up off the floor and float around - what approach is best?
Is it possible to have a gravity variable (and some sort of weight attributes) affect the 3D objects in the scene?
Post me some links if you know of any relevant ones! im a 3D newbie so go easy!
Thanks guys :)

if you have the mograph module, the rigid body tags should have gravity properties. i think that'll do it. gsg has great mograph tutorials
in addition to gsg:
http://www.motionworks.com.au/more AE i think but good for integrating c4d projects:

have a look at the vibration tag. apply the tag to each object. it will wiggle any x,y,and or z position, scale and rotation to any degree and frequency of your choosing.
